You have no idea how many A500s we *STILL* have:-D We are considering another inventory blow out sale. These are genuine Commodore refurbished models, which means they are in brand new condition in new boxes with new mice, power supplies, manuals etc etc.
To keep track of interest please post to THIS thread if you would be willing to buy one or more at $80 each, including shipping. This offer is for US based Amiga.org users in the lower 48 states only. I'd like a minimum of 20 people to commit before we proceed.

I have to say that 80$ for an old A500 doesn't exacly spell super cheap to me... no matter how refurbished and spick and span they ever might be. :-o
-
My guess is people buying these just leave it in the box and put it in their C= shrine to gloat over :-).

You have GOT to be kidding me! Packing material is ~$5 (my cost wholesale) and shipping(my cost) will be as high as $30 to west coast. So you are trying to tell me $45 is too high for a brand new factory refurbished Amiga 500? Just because you don't want one doesn't make it a bad deal. Hell when I auction these I get as much as $200 a shot.
On top of this we test each and every unit before we box it up since C='s QA was literally nonexistant, AND we guarantee each one.
It is true that a portion of this community expects everything for free, thank god for eBay. :-x
-
Ah frick! I always dreamed of having a couple of serial-linked A500's in a spare room.
Would be great with a few mates (and a few beers) to bring out Skidmarks again... :-)
@redrumloa - although I'm in the UK, I wouldn't consider 80USD to be much to spend on something like this.
If it was a second-hand machine, then yeah, I'd expect it to be cheaper... but brand new? Go for it!
All the best!
HNY, everyone! :-D
-
Shiping would be really high, but since I have had other inquires I'll entertain the idea. I do have both EU and UK power supplies I can substitute:-)
PM me and tell me how many you want and I will give you a shipping quote.
-
Oh if only I lived in the usa and not in the uk i would of loved to have 1 :-(

He's not the only one that's confusing..... :-?
This is one weird ending...
-
I always hated logic problems.
Have a Happy New Year everyone. Remember to save on last drink for tomorrow morning.
-
Great.. One nice anom is mongering that amiga.org will be shut down tomorow...
Maybe it's time to logg off for now and come back in an hour or 12... :-x
-
You do know that morning starts at midnight. Doesn't anyone toast the New Year or am I just odd? Most people I know have their fill before 10pm. Gotta pace your drinking.

Offcourse, tho I doubt anything newsworthy / nonrumor will be posted in the early hours of 2004..
-
This is very confusing - does anyone know what the heck's happening?
I am going to have to save your email address... looks like the winds of change in the AO world are blowing...
Are we to take that as a hint that the DB is going offline soon? :-? :-? :-?

Happy New Year to ALL Amiga/Pegasos/AO owners/members.
Hopefully with a NEW Year, maybe A1 and Pegasos users can stop arguing like little kids.
Be good.

Hum wait... can I or can I not show interest in an 80 dollar Amiga 500? Ermmm.... this thread has me confused.... oh well
-
I'm as confused any anyone, and I've only had one glass of vino so far tonight. But, whatever happens after midnight or whenever, I for one have had a wonderful time on Amiga.org, and have had help from so many wonderful people. All of you epitomize what being an Amigan really is. Best regards, and a safe and happy '04 to all.....Art
-
Hum, as a.org is american it'll be in a few hours yet :)......
Every time Redrumloa posts another A500 is made NOS... maybe thats why he's stopping posting here, getting sick of them taking up space ;)
-
The inventory clearance (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=redrumloa&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50) has begun.
-
I'm just worried that all the old threads I would go in search of for tech information will be lost forever :-( :-( :-(
-
I hope amiga.org does not go offline. If they need someone to pay their monthly webhosting fees to stay up I will gladly do it. This is a awesome site and I would not want to see it go away!
Best regards
