I started formatting the hd in WB3.1 and after a very long time the sytem frezed and when i reboted,
the screen was blank.
I tried with the wb floppy but nothing happend.
the next day i tried again and it worked with the floppy.
i run hdtools but there's no hd.
is the hd broken and if not how can i fix it.

Did you use quickformat in workbench or the fullformat in hdtoolbox? Does the machine boot without the HD?

seems your system boots with the hd connected (from fdd).
try to connect a different hdd, which you know that it works. if this one doesn't boot your hdd controller might have been damaged.
if hd toolbox "sees" the hdd your other hdd has died.

to get the hdd fixed you can try to contact the vendor and try to get it warranty repaired.
