Title: Tfmx
Post by: CritAnime on July 19, 2011, 05:20:45 PM
Dunno if I have got this in the right part of the forum.

I have downloaded some TFMX files, turrican 3, and I am trying to run them. However I can't seem to get them to run properly. Can anyone reccomend a good program for playing them from within Windows. Or a way of converting them to MP3?

DeliPlayer should work:
http://files.exotica.org.uk/?file=exotica/software%2Faudio%2Fplayers%2FDeliPlayer+2.50+beta.exe

It's rather old software though so I don't know how well it works with the latest Windows versions.

You can also try UADE cygwin Windows port from: http://zakalwe.fi/uade/download.html
At least UADE can be used to output raw sample data to a file which then can be encoded to mp3.

the modland interface at http://www.modland.com will allow downloading as mp3. it will combine subsongs into one big tune though with tfmx, but fine for listening.

I use DeliPlayer all the time for all exotic formats, no problems including TFMX. xmplay is the best for xm and it tunes.

On iPhone i purchased Modizer which also plays all formats fine, except i got some crashes with C64 sid tunes. :)

Thanks for the replies. I have downloaded deliplayer again and everything seems to be working once again.
