Title: "broken" Apollo 060
Post by: AmiBoy on July 13, 2011, 10:51:51 PM
Hi Guys & Gals,

Its been along time since I was last on a.org (well over 2 years!), but I just couldnt stay away anylonger, I really missed this place. alot seems to have changed since I was last here.

My problem is with my Apollo 060 board for my 1200. The second SIMM socket seems to be broken and I dont have the skills/know how to repair it. It still works OK, but I only have half of my 64MB ram available :-(

Their used to be a memeber here going by the user name of PG, this guy seemed to be the master of repairing/upgrading A1200 Apollo cards.

Doesanyone know if he is still around? Or is their anyone else here who could do it?

It would be great if hes still around/contactable as not only would I love the repair, I would love the upgrade to an 060 @ 80MHz we discussed all those years ago!

Regards,
AmiBoy
