As long as you are outputting a true NTSC screenmode, ie. resolution and refresh rate, then yes, no reason why not.

Not sure. Apart from vertical scan rate and color encoding, PAL and NTSC models (slightly) differ in clock frequencies which results in a slightly 'off' horizontal scan rate, so for a PAL machine to get 100% NTSC compatible you might have to replace the clock generator.

To answer your question more fully it would be a good idea for you to give us an idea of what your trying to do. It may be that there is a better or easier way. I've seen many video projects go about things in very complex ways that are in fact achievable with great ease. I include some big companies in this list. Most of these projects involve going between PAL and NTSC, it's a minefield area but often doesn't need to be.

Can you qualify that? It's fair enough to give the guy an answer but I'm sure he would like to know why. As would I to be quite honest.

Well, the short version: if you change the default per jumper and replace the oscillator - yes.

Hi Zac could you please elaborate with more details on what you mean?

@Framiga'

Why is that? I thought that was the case..

@ Thread

Anyone know where I can send my A600 NTSC MB to be fixed?
