*Note* Please do not email this seller. He may actually get someone to buy it at the buy-it-now price. I just think it is highly unlikely and aweful silly:-P
You gotto see THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2776904484&category=51107)! A Commodore PC II -III for $1200? Heck I have a Couple of C= PCs even older! I will be watching this one :-o
-
1200USD....yah rite :-).

Figuratively, silly :smack:

Hmm, I wonder if there is a way to use that floppy drive together with a Catweasel MK3 to read C64 flyppys?
-
This is one of the first color(4 color) computers for the home that came along.
1987..... let's see... what other color computers were made by Commodore back then... with more than 4 colors..... can't quite remember....

Lame, that is such a bogus discription. The C64 lots of other stuff too were all out when this was new. Heck the A1000 had been out for two full years by then!
-
Maybe it was a mistake and was meant to be a $120 .any way this is the one that amazed me amiga4000 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3066431943&category=3544)
Ive seen a higher spec desktop not even get the start of bid of a £100 . :-)
-
I think I need LSD to be in the mood for buying that.
-
It appears he has no reserve so I would say he is going to be sorely disapointed when he has to sell it for a fraction of his buy it now price. He will probably try to do like some of the other ripp off artists on ebay and get rich on unrealistic shipping charges. You know, computer $100.00, shipping and handling $800.00.
-
Not right now dude, I'm far too mashed... err... eh... what-cha got?(http://forum.gewinnspiele.com/images/smiles/smiley_rasta.gif)
-
Well I figured it out. Red is saying they have smoked too much of their own stash. You would have to be stoned to pay that much for that piece of crap. ;-)
-
im drunkn (no really i am)
so ill buy 12 :-?
-
"I'll buy that for a dollar"
-
Old computers are not like old sports cars or even old bottles of wine. And didn't the C64 have more then 4 colours? I wouldn't pay $12 for that.
- Mike

I'd pay $12, actually I have 2 similar models. It was fun to kick the tires just as it would be on a Model T.
$1200 won't happen though. :-o

Correction: Old PCs
There's a Reason C=One is coming about, old Amigas are still nice, and so are Ataris (well kinda). They lack horsepower for sure, but they have their place in the hearts of those who appreciate them (I would never buy 400 year old wine, I'd certainly not appreciate it)

I like the drama in that description.. It makes me laugh!
kinda like the land before time!
Imagine.........(twinkly music) before this..... there WAS NO COLOR!!!!!(crashing chords)

Yeah - next to Dumbelya's quote, it looks as though he was tooting some sweet mary jane when he made it.
Maybe he does - and inhales too!
