Post by: pyrre on July 10, 2011, 11:00:30 AM
looking in the BBoAH i found This (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=899) little thing.

Do they still exist, or can i build one myself?

Interesting, it needs a driver on amiga tho which is bothersome.

Would be nice if you could run a floppy drive simulator on a pc (with access to the pc harddisks etc.) and make the amiga think its a huge floppy.

I know, have already seen it. Last updated may 22, 2005
But so,e of these must be collecting dust somewhere. Or aren't there any plans to make them yourself?

I don't think any floppy emulation is possible. The driver available for the device supports sanaII (and a proprietary device driver). And it is a network adapter. even capable of LAN connectivity...
Why would you emulate a floppy when you can copy files directly from your file server?
