When will the next run of FGA Arcade Boards by Mike J be ready to purchase / ship? I am still on th list for batch two right...
-
I don't know why (maybe the Japan situation) but the FPGAs are on 4 month lead time. I have a delivery date of 11July now, but until I receive them I cannot move forward with the build obviously.
I'm about to place a digikey order for a few standard parts I am short of, I have all the special bits including other ICs.
One problem is the country shuts down in July, so I think it is unlikely I will get the boards in my hand until mid August.
As soon as they check out, I'm going to order parts for the next batch to maintain suply.

That country being Sweden?
-
Correct, although actually the next batch are being built in Denmark.
They all seem to take July off as well though :(
-

if put a bigger fpga thats pin compatible would that be made quicker or in stock and would that be cost prohibitive?
-
It's already the biggest one in that footprint.
-
ok will the big 500 fpga arcades be same has the 44 currently being made or a different design?
-
As Mike said on EAB (http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=763899&postcount=151):
The 500 batch will be the same board as the current b02 in the 44 batch.
Cost may come down slightly with volume, but I won't be starting them until I have shifted the 44.
