Title: 3000T battery acid
Post by: Subby on July 04, 2011, 01:08:06 AM
I just picked up a couple 3000Ts.
On both the battery has leaked and attacked the mobo, lifted traces, eaten chip legs, etc.
I'm guessing a total write off, but I figured I'd check and see somebody has a miracle cure. (Nope, not holding breath)

Fix it myself? I'm about to replace the RS232 chip in an A500, that I can handle. Jumping traces, and replacing the FPU, etc., I'll leave for the pros.
And I'm in the US, Atlanta.
