Title: Plug mouse into second joystick port?

Hi, I am having some problems with my amiga's mouse, and to rule out the possibility of it being the port, is there some piece of software I can use to make the amiga recognize the mouse when its plugged in the other port?  I know there is a short somewhere, but a continuity test across the mouse cable doesn't seem to yield any problems.  I don't have any more mice to test with...

Lemmings or The Settlers on 2 player... Though I can't remember if you need the first mouseport working to select 2-player in the first place... What kind of problems are you getting?

Yes, something on Aminet that cant do it...

could it be a CIA problem?
Where do you live i am sure someone here could be near you and you can at least borrow a mouse to see if it really is the mouse or CIA's?
