Hi all, this is my first post. I have a refurbed A500 that I finally unwrapped after buying it years ago, and then stashing it. Anyway, I've always wanted to explore 68000 assembler, and now have time to to do so. I know that Commodore used to sell a macro assembler for the Amiga. I was also doing some research, and see that there are several freeware assemblers available. However, I am not sure which would be a good one to try.
Could someone here provide info as to whether the Commodore macro assembler package is worth getting, or if there might be a freeware/shareware assembler as good, or better than the "store bought" package?
Thanks everyone, it's good to see that there are people still "playing computer" these days! :)
