Title: A1200 PCMCIA Slot and PCMCIA Network CARDs...

Hello! ,

Any body know about the A1200 Pcmcia Slot Bug and Patch.. Why happen this?

I have a Compact Pcmcia network Card, and i want try conect to my A1200 but recently i listened about this PAtch need the A1200 for Pcmcia Slot. And if this Card work with Amiga is necesary install in the Amiga any Drivers?... In case is necesary where i can obtain the Drivers..?...

go to aminet and download " Cnet Device"  install that and read the docs.

after that , install the SOFWARE hack for the pcmcia port on aminet aswell.

i forgot its name (the "Tick" (pcmcia) hack)

anyway make sure to read the docs in the cnet arrchive to see if your CARD is supported , ALOT of cards is supported but there is always a possibility of u having a card which aint supported.

first, you should try the card without any patches, if you got lucky, it'll work, if not, then try CardReset (http://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/util/boot/CardReset.lha). Drivers can be found here in download section.. And then you need some TCP/IP stack AmiTCP/Genesis or Miami..

BTW does anyone forced a Linksys PCMPC100 to work with miggy??
