Lost productivity is a HUGE problem on my schedule, and considering the huge $$ in fees they are raking in from me this is completely unacceptable
It's been down at least 10 minutes and counting....

I've been waiting 2 days for my bank account to be verified with paypal, so I can transfer money. I'm not happy either!
-
It's back up. I'm still not 100% happy, but at least it was only for ~1 hour...
-
This has happened to me before with paypal.com but not paypal.co.uk. Needs to be resolved though... :-?

Well I no longer use them after I was ripped off by them. I sold a few things to an ebay buyer and they paid me with a stolen card so they sayt. Even those the items were sent to the gift address listed in the paypal account email was the one use, and the person mailed before payment with the same email address listed in the paypal account I was found not to be protected. They locked my paypal account with over $5000 in it and have yet to give it back telling me the funds are suspected of fraud. These are are valid payments too, as well as a lot I put in. I have sent them proof, but its never good. They allways ask for more and more. It seems this happens to a lot of others as well.
Check out paypalsucks.com for some scary reading.

Oh brother! Nobody is allowed to have problems! Everybody Is forced to use PayPal! :)

@Acill
Well, its in the text you should read when
joining, about locking of the account on payments
with stolen cards.. But as far as i can recall, only until things have been solved. And how long
ago was this ? And what have you been told
by PayPal ?
-
I don't use paypal with any bank account. To many scary things have happened to people who use it. I have an account for my credit card only. Money orders are a better way to pay. COD just as good if you are willing to pay more to get the product.

Well basicly I have been told I am out my money. I have contacted the FBI and they tell me since they are not a bank they cant do anything about it unless I get others together. Its been several months now. I use city banks new service instead now. Its much better and more secure. I wrote all the funds off on my taxes as a loss so I was covered sort of.

You should get a lawyer and take Paypal to court.

Wow! I'm glad that I didn't open PayPal account yet (wanted to do this next week).. After reading this (http://www.paypalsucks.com/forums/showthread.php?fid=6&tid=1529&old_block=0) think that I won't set such an account..
-
Wow. I mean, just... wow.
They have been a great service to me that really helped me out in some situations... and now I read this. That really sucks. I used them ALOT.
-
Heh, trust me I have done everything I can. Its more trouble then you could ever guess. They are experts in giving people the run arround. I am now part of the ever growing class action case against them. There are several hundreds in several other cases as well.

I've used paypal for over two years now at my business. I don't leave
much money in there at all - I think now it has $2.50 in it. I had my
ebay account hijacked at one time and since I had used the same signin
and password for both ebay and paypal (not a good idea) - both of them
got locked. Someone was selling stolen video cameras on my ebay
account. Both eBay and PayPal were extremely cooperative in getting
the accounts restarted quickly.
It appears looking at their executive staff that they have had several
changes over the last couple of years due to them being bought out by
eBay.
So many times on 'horror' sites like paypalsucks.com, you only hear
from the really extreme cases. PayPal has 35,000,000 customers and
there are bound to be problems. :( (Good thing they don't sell
T-Shirts) :)
I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best - so far in my
business the only money I've lost is from bad checks.

Im not happy with paypal, i tried sometimes register, but i have problems with spanish bank credit card or something, and the attention service of paypal sucks a lot, i probed to register some times and nothing, now i think that my ebay account has negative points...

I'm looking at Evocash (http://www.evocash.com/index.cfm?w=1280) instead of PayPal for TeamAROS. Don't know if I'm going to jump or not yet, but it looks like I could be happy wtih Evocash.
