Hi girls and guys!
Thought I would be interesting to see what we do other than Amiga.
I know Franko likes Squirrels. I myself am an ex-mechanic who loved cars, and ex-IT-Techie that loved computers - oops still do! - I like beer and smoking and used to love weed and coke, I've a couple stationary engines (Lister D / Petter A1), I do DIY everything from a plug to walls and plumbing and I like doing my wife......
.....your turn! :hat:
-
I spend a lot of time getting high and masterbaiting to midget porn. It ain't much a life but I'm happy.

Yup... me wee pals the Squirrels take up a fair bit of my time but my main interest/hobby (not sure what to call it) is music, couldn't go a day without listening to my music (it's even playing while I sleep)... :)
Course the old fags is my only vice 40+ a day and at least 6 cans of Pepsi and as many packets of Crisps that I can scoff in between mealtimes... :)
Like yourself DIY is my other big thing being a Carpenter by trade (not a Joiner) woodwork is my favourite but like yourself I can do any aspect of the building trade Electrician, Bricky, Plasterer, Plumber etc... (though Metalwork I'm not keen on)... :)
Cars are one thing I don't like I've owned a few but never learned to drive and even if I wanted to I wouldn't be allowed so cars have never really be of any interest to me... :)
Tinkering with anything electrical I enjoy (old stuff mainly) as there's not a lot tinker with in today's electronics being all chips & surface mount crap... :(
Not sure about your wife though (need to see a piccy first....) but wee Janice the cleaning lady helps out in many ways and is quite handy cos unlike the ex-wife she at least goes home to her own place... ;)
PS: I also like phoning up big companies to complain about things, not that I buy or use any of their products, I just enjoy calling them up to tell them that their product or service probably stinks, they seem to get a bit confused over that... :D

I've got heaps happening family/home/business that takes up nearly all my spare time from my main job. But from 9:30pm-Midnight Mon-Sun I usually have time to do some Amiga/Music/games. I'm a bit of a DIY myself. NE thing to save a bit of dosh. I have genetic electrical/electronic/building/mechanical credentials being bought up on a dairy farm.

WOW... electric cows... post some pics... that I must see... :D
-
Electric fences / radios transmitters&recievers / computers / auto electrical. I started with Tandy electronic (x in one) kits when I was a wipper snapper.
Cows are big smelly creatures linked to Gateway computers. Keep away from them. But all the same: http://inhabitat.com/cows-on-treadmills-could-produce-six-percent-of-the-worlds-power/

Cool... A Moo Moo on a treadmill... :)

Hardly "ECO friendly" though one of them big beasties puts out nearly as much fart gas as Dammy does when he talks about CUSA... :)

It's important to have a hobby that makes a difference, boys. That's why I manually masturbate caged animals for artificial insemination.

Work on a web forum site.... Oh, on 2nd thought that might be Amiga related.
:)
-
Cars, music (mixing, creating and appreciation), photography and reading (physics, chem and history).
-
I forgot music! D'oh! Yeah I love listening to music - mainly rock / metal but listen to almost everything. I also make some kinda 'music' as The Synapse Project.......
I'm a Jointer by trade - as in mains electrical cable, Live 3 Phase LV Mains, and joint 11KV High Voltage. Most towns are like one big circuit board.
I used to class myself as a writer once apon a time. Poetry, stories, lyrics etc......don't really find the time now so I end up editing for my wife who writes.
Inbetween being a parent, a Union rep and councillor.....yeah life is busy!

"Hi, I don't own one of your products per say, but I'm sure they probably really suck and I'm pissed about it Godamit! What the HELL??! Who the hell do you think you are?! Selling crap products to unexpecting consumers, you got to be kidding me!"
Ya, gotta try that sometime! :)

Slotracing (like on my Avatar)
-
I like to "experiment with noiz" (I got all sorts of strange gear) as I do not yet deserve the title of musician, but the Miracle Piano is helping me learn a few things. ;)
I also run HEAVILY modified Atari 8-bit computers, journey alone into the woods (dark nights are the best, though it's been a while), I love obscure movies, classic film, old indy horror, non-holywood cinema, certain Japanese Animation (not the Dragon Ball or Pokemon stuff). Star Wars novels and comics are an addiction of mine as they help fill that void that the TV series and prequel movies created within me.
Let's see, I also read Lovecraft, Barker, Ann Rice, documents on US (and Nazi) research into Social Engineering and Generational Conditioning.
Ancient Scripture, Mythology, Dreams, Jungian Psychology, Zen.
Taking care of the elderly. Disturbing the comfortable, comforting the disturbed.
Working on my Star Wars total conversion for PrBOOM+ and Odemex (GzDOOM project later).
Fishing, taking a trip to the city and eating at the all female Krisna house, road trips, the rare but occasional shaman experience. Eathing Americanized Chinese food, hanging out with my long lost brother and sister.
Um, yes I do smoke up, but I don't masterbait to midget porn actually. To be honest I prefer to sodomize my self to issues of Good House Keeping.
I also Edit video which I am incorporating with my current experiments with sound and eventually release a DVD. I have also been wanting to buy a good camera and learn techniques with the Green Screen and Adobe After Effect. Maybe I could use this to do Wedding and Funeral DVD's, which pays VERY well btw! Shooting a low budget horror flick with my long lost bro. and sis is also on the agenda. (She's been to Tom Savini's School of Special EFX.)
I write unorthodoxed beats to compliment my brother's rapping skills.
Used to draw, need to get back into it. I love to bike miles across the country with head phones or one of my female friends when she's available.
I love to roll around with my pets, sometimes play Wii, Half-Life two, Classics, RRG's, Turn Based Adventures, Point and Click Adventures, etc.
Table Top Games like Risk, Space Hulk, DOOM, etc.
Stuff in general.

That's the basic idea of it... ;)
Best thing is usually the person who answers hasn't got a clue what to say and they end up passing you to the complaints dept instead of just hanging up the phone... :D
The big multi nationals are the best one's as they try to remain as polite as possible despite the fact you can hear by the tone of their voice that they're pretty sure your taking the P... :)
Sometimes they'll even send you some discount vouchers for your next purchase of their products that you've never bought and never will... ;)

Hobbies! What do you do that isn't Amiga?
Peecee :) My only hobbies are computer related. Yup, I'm a genuine Computer Nerd

Is it a self empowering career with lots of opportunity for advancement? If so I want in on it.

Fifteen bucks, little man...put that s*** in my hand!
:D
If that quote doesn't do it, how about:
My love for you is like a truck BerZER-Kerrr!!

I like to snort the sherbert filling in those ufo sweets. Then spend the next 3 hours on a sugar high playing countless crap games.

Good plan! I like that! I know what I'm doing next weekend!

It's the way to go if you want to do sugar ;)

Reading. Everything.
I game a lot too; online (Eve online), offline (got a Silent Hunter III thing going on atm) and P&P (Started a Mutant Chronicles char a few days ago).
Also, regular migdet porn is inferior to lesbian midget-twin porn.

Loong range targeting, RC (car, planes and helicopters), cars, anything mechanical...+++

Ham Radio
-
I make weird, heavily progressive-rock inspired music. (http://www.commodorejohn.com/music.php)
-
Lets see, Drag racing, carpentry, machine work, computers of course, electronic projects, building small scale wind generators, some solar tinkering, welding, restored some old tractors, built a few houses in my time...
basically a mech of all trades, master of none.
:)

I like to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum.
I also enjoy throwing around movie quotes.

Me too! But since nobody guessed Clerks on mine, I won't guess They Live on yours :D
-
I enjoy reading a lot (just found a great library of ebooks that I'm slowly going through atm), writing I still do (although I haven't really had much inclination of late). Like gadgets in general but really fell in love with the whole netbook concept. Kinda fell out of the habit of gaming over the years but I still love the odd game of bomberman. Lastly, music... Couldn't live without it :)

Ham Radio
What an excellent hobby! I do that too! A little over 20 years now. I can see that Quarter Century Wireless Association membership now. Just a few short years away.

I tinker with my SIII LandRover a bit but mostly....
I have a medium sized collection of Acorn computers the from BBC B and Master 128 through to the Archimedes A410/1 and a BBC Acorn A3000 all networked via an Econet... The A410/1 also has Ethernet so I effectively have an Econet to Ethernet bridge too.
My Amiga A1200 has Ethernet as well so it's a fully homogenised network with Acorn, Amiga, PC compatibles, Nintendo Wii and a heap load of modern kit like Blu-ray players and Internet TV's all connected on a 1Gbps backbone with a few TB of NAS storage for everything to be archived to.
When I decorated the house a couple of years ago, I re-wired completely and installed CAT-6 Ethernet in the walls so all the networking throughout the house is wired but "invisible" up to the wall sockets.
That little lot tends to keep me busy :)

I like your style! And did the same while rebuilding my house, at the moment the ground floor is Ethernet, and when I get to upstairs that will be as well, I have a Gigabyte switch in my understands cupboard to run it all.......which will be moved in my loft conversion in a switch cabinet that picked off a site a year ago ;)
-
I've started documenting my vintage collection Acorn and CBM, thereby adding to the world of circuit board p0rn :)
