It all has to go. I've had a perfectly good Amiga 4000/EC030 just sitting around unused for years, and it's time I sold it to someone who wants to keep the dream alive. This auction will be for the main system hardware and all the software I have left. The machine's been cleaned up, the plastic front isn't terribly dirty or yellowed (Although an unfortunate accident with some hydrogen peroxide has bleached the rainbow off of the model label on the front). The only thing that's a bit weird about this Frankenstein Amiga is the black CD32 keyboard (The only replacement for my broken original keyboard I could find after C= folded). Also, the original cover for the 5 1/4 inch drive bay on the front was removed and lost a long time ago. To make up for it, the hard drive contains legitimately registered copies of Miami-TCP and IDEFix 97, so you can hook up an IDE optical drive if you like.
I have removed the ancient 4 GB Fujitsu hard drive that was inside because it was making a suspicious noise and have replaced it with a 2 GB Compact Flash drive on a CF to IDE adapter. As a result, the computer boots in about 4 seconds. It's been tested thoroughly and works well, although the floppy drive may be a bit twitchier than it used to be. The CPU is a 25 MHz 680EC030. The economy model lacked an MMU, and I believe that only affected things if you wanted to run Unix. I had an 040 and an 060 card, but sold them off a couple of years ago.
If you're interested, I'm also selling my Picasso IV graphic card and my old Sony Multisync monitor.

Just a bump and a reminder that the auction ends on 16 June, 2011.
