Hello All,
Is it hard to install a 2.5" Hdd on my newly purchased plain Escom Amiga 1200? What tools do I need to open up my A1200? I know that A1200s come with a drive bay for 2.5" drives, but do they also feature a built-in AT/IDE cable? If not, What cables IDE/ATT do I need?
Also, provided that I installed this 2.5" Hdd inside my A1200, is there a guide which explains (in simple step preferably!) how to install WB?
Thanks a million in advance!

You'll need a 44 pin IDE cable and workbench floppies. Boot with the install disk and follow the on screen instructions. It's super easy! Once you have booted, partition the drives with HD Toolbox and then install workbench on one of the partitions.

Thanks for your help. Is this 44 pin IDE cable, the same that is used on a normal PC? If not, would you provide a link (or picture) that I can purchase?
Thanks!
