Title: Read/Write Amiga Floppy Images?
Post by: whorsfall on June 07, 2011, 07:01:07 AM
Hi,

I am looking to find some good software that can read and write floppy images
to hard disks.

So I want to find an application (hopefully in AmigaDos or Fred Fish etc)
that can:

1. Read  floppy disk and save the image to a hard disk.
2. Write that image file to an Amiga Floppy disk.

So this would save me having to read from the same master floppy all the time.

Hopefully, something with a bit of a graphical interface would be great.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ward.

I think DMS will do the trick, never used it with a GUI but there probably is a nice on for it... There are many DMS related packages on Aminet.

HTH!

If you want to write ADF files to your hard drive and then back to real floppies then try this:

http://m68k.aminet.net/disk/misc/tsgui.lha

I use it and it is pretty straight forward.  It is supposed to do HDF files too, but I've never tried it.
