I'd like to know what Amiga web browsers by default report their browser string as something like "netscape compatible". I know quite a few have that option and for good reason, but just interested, as the browser stats to my website say very little about Amiga web browsers (and the analysis software is kept up to date (www.analog.cx is the site of the analysis software, www.legolas.com is my site))
(No, this isn't an attempt to get more Amiga-based web browsers in my stats :-))

My version reports itself as
"IBrowse/2.3beta (AmigaOS V3.9)"
whereas if I spoof it reports as
"Mozilla/4.78 [en] (Win98; I) IBrowse/2.3beta (AmigaOS V3.9)"

IBrowse 2.3 beta? any good in comparison to 2.2?
Also, where is the IBrowse website? I used to go to hisoft.co.uk but they're not selling it anymore apparently...
.... /me notices Meldon's sig... oops "any good?" :-)
........ and then /me notices the weblink and finds the website from there. duh. :-)

Uhm, I would say it's kinda good. But I'm a bit biased ;)

Is it better and faster more secure than ever all 32-bit as well, more integrated into the OS than ever, and all kinds of interesting new security bug-filled features so anyone can own the machine too? :-P

It is faster, better, more stable. The security holes will have to wait for IB 3.0 ;P
