Title: Service Pack for AROS Broadway available
Post by: phoenixkonsole on June 01, 2011, 08:26:09 PM
Hi,

a Service Pack for Broadway is available. You can download it via upd2date.
Quickstarter (dock)->tools->upd2date

It weights 13MB and includes newer core files. Also "Aquario final Version" is reactivated and works flawlessly again.

Broadway is available via www.aros-broadway.de (http://www.aros-broadway.de)

Broadway is a AROS distribution... ; )

PS: A friend started a AresOne Facebook page... maybe you could give it a "thumb up" ; )

A little constuctive suggestion....... the term "Service Pack" typically leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths due to it being often associated with Windows "fixes"/updates. Personally I'd be inclined to find a new phrase to use with these types of updates.

Anyway, that aside, good stuff :)

I have a very fond association with the term for the same reason.
I'm used to Service Pack meaning 'this will make windows suck less, and spare me from most updates next time I have to re-install'.
