I got my cold sweaty hands on a bog standard rev. 4 A2000 with two 1081 monitors. The A2K has two floppy drives installed. Otherwise it is standard, with the big black varta battery. no visual damage to either case nor motherboard. Appart from some yellowing...
The computer boots up just nicely, showing the kick 1.2 screen. How lovely it is to see it again. :)
Sadly i have no floppys here to test the computer and diskdrives with...
I paid only 90 bucks for it. :D
Now, what can i do with this beast...?
Oh.. in the package there was a logitec three button serial mice. Any chance they could be modded to work with amigas?

The old (German) 4.0 rev or the (nicer) 4.1+ rev?
90 NOK(?) sounds like a very good price!

It is the german 4.0 revision.
But it was around 90USD or 500 NOK... :)
Still a nice price.

I'd look at tracking down a Buddha IDE card and connect a hard drive and CD ROM or even a CF Card reader to make transferring files from a PC easy. Upgrade the kickstart to 3.1 and use a program from AmiNet to turn downloaded ADF files into real floppies.

Keep your eyes open for a cheap SCSI card with extra RAM ON Ebay

I was thinking that thought....
I have some stuff collecting dust. i will see what i can get out of it.
All though, i do not have 3.1 kick. only 2.05 (or was it 2.04......).
And os 2.1
But it will do the trick, i got my 1200 for os 3.9 stuff... :D
