Title: idea: AmigaOnline Event
Post by: AmigaNG on June 01, 2011, 03:09:04 PM
I've had an idea, why not hold an AmigaOnline event for July the 23rd  and 24th , which will mark Amiga 26th birthday, amiga shows are great  but can be difficult for people to attend and expensive, so why not have  two days of online events, we could have amiga round table live, the  chat room/lrc open with special guest maybe, like ask the OS4, MorphOS, or Aros devs etc,  live video stream of interviews maybe, have Quake or other games online  matches and competition and just generally get as many Amiga users  online as we can, what do you think. PS: just a crazy idea that pop into  my head.

Nice idea but would be a lot better if it were about real Amiga stuff as well and not just biased towards OS4, MorphOS & Aros which are really minority subjects... :)

I agree, everyone should feel welcome, and also find the event to be of interest! None should be/feel excluded, everyone included.
