Title: workbech 3 installing help

hi
can i install workbench 3 on a amiga 600 then put the hard drive in a amiga 1200 and still have it boot into workbench ?

why is your floppy drive broken on amiga 1200?

Theres also winuae, i installed that way since dont have any workbench discs, so installed using amiga forever adfs of os3.1 then installed os 3.9 via virtual cd via amiga 1200.

nope, ide port has pins missing :)

Why do you expect the hard drive to work if the IDE port is damaged?

Or why don't you install WB 3.1 on the A1200 if both the hard drive and the floppy drive are working?

im sending the a1200 off to a firend who can solder a new ide port on :) also to test the new port he will probley need a boot drive :)
