That's it. I'm looking for "say", the 1.x command to speak text, and te spanish keymap file. My sys:devs/keymaps directory is empty. It's been ok until now, that I got a spanish keyboard.
Setkeyboard complains about missing keymap if I do:
setkeyboard e
thanks

The speech synthesis engine was removed from WB 3.0 due to licensing issues. You'll need to copy the modules over from an older version, WB 2.x was the best.
The keymaps reside in devs/keymaps. Just copy them over from the installation disk to HDD.

If memory serves the Storage disk has extra keymaps on it. I think the Say command was dropped after Workbench 2.1
Zac67 beat me to it!

Thanks guys!
Well, I can't find "say" or the narrator.device and translator.librart it uses in a wb2.05 disk set... They are in my 1.3 disk, but that's an old version I believe.
As for the keymaps, well, I found the "e" keymap, yes, but it doesn't work right with my keyboard: it has the Ñ letter, but it has a lot of symbols out of place.

There are a few say replacement apps on Aminet that you could try

According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amigaos#Speech_synthesis), WB2.0 was the last release with speech synthesis. C= dropped it with 2.01 already.

ok, I got the last version of SAY working on the Minimig, too :D
Now, only the spanish keyboard problems remain, as the "e" keymap is in fact a spanish keyboard but NOT a PS/2 spanish keyboard, but an Amiga Spanish keyboard, wich is different. So I need a keymap file for an external spanish keyboard. Where can I get souch a thing?
EDIT: Opps, seems like Aminet is my friend :P Win95e, just in case someone's in my situation.
