Hi guys need some help here, I have been offered a Commodore Amiga 1200, with HDD, Philips CM8833 monitor, the original fax, separate modem and Genlock MG-25 video output box, plus a huge box of software.
In the picture there was a Surf Squirrel box........not sure on RAM or expansion......
My first question is what would that be worth in £-Sterling and secondly how does the CM8833 compare to the CBM monitors? What does a Genlock do?
And do I need a 4th A1200?!?!?! Also offered a Mac G4

The Genlock allows you to overlay a video source such as one from a VCR or camera onto your computer display. It's handy for adding text, titles and effects to whatever video you're editing. Not much use for a genlock in these days of HD digital television. Pricing the items can be quite difficult. Hardcore collectors might pay top dollar but most of them have rounded out their collections of A1200s and genlocks. Post the items on eBay or Amibay and see what you can get for them.
