That depends. There are different sorts. For instance, do you mean realtime generated, streaming video etc?

You can probably watch DivX movies with a good DMA SCSI CD and a fast PPC on AGA (low-res)...with a suitable player ;-)

Yeah, I know, but I've never seen any full screen video on an AGA machine. It's must be possible, the Anim format has very low compression, and a well encoded Anim in HAM8 (without HAM8 arifacts) would be able to do reall time fullscreen fullmotion, full color video..... or maybe not :-?

There was that PowerMovie software. I don't know what became of it, but I seem to recall it managed fullscreen playback OK.

There's a program on Aminet that converts MPegs to anims but I haven't tried it my A1200 is currently disassembled...
I think it supports Mpeg2 as well.
