Google video is going to shut down at the end of the month. If there are any Amiga videos you want to keep from it you can download them using keepvid.com.

Yes, there are a few OS4 and Amiga One videos that I think are worth saving... hopefully their respective owners will download them, but I'll try and get a copy too!
Wonder if Google has emailed each video's respective owners/uploader to tell them about this? I hope so! :)

Yes, they did. I got an email yesterday.

One of these videos is the first video I saw about OS4 that made me rekindle my interest in Amiga:

60 minute video showing OS4 Alpha! Very interesting. :)

At least YouTube now allows bigger than 15 minutes uploads, so the videos just need to be reuploaded there.

I just don't understand why Google doesn't move Google videos over to Youtube. Who knows what they'll delete that might not come back again. Yes, I know - a lot of junk too but there might be some old gem that goes goodbye forever.

That is what I thought they were going to do when they bought Youtube!
Let the downloading begin, followed by the Uploading.
I'm not sure some of those videos can be uploaded to Youtube due to length. Which I'm sure wouldn't be an issue if Google had just transferred them over.

I think we shall ask permissions from the videos authors first before uploading, if the authors can be contacted in the first place.

I have only 1.3 years old YouTube account any it was upgraded by YouTube to don't have length limit due to it being copyright infringement free and in good standing. Reuploading stuff without authors permission may remove the DMCA free status.

They changed their minds Google will save videos after all (http://news.slashdot.org/story/11/04/23/1220202/Google-Will-Save-Videos-After-All).
