Title: My Small Humble contribution to the Amiga Community.
Post by: Claw22000 on April 15, 2011, 01:47:40 AM
I have been hosting a Teamspeak server for quite some time.  and I would like to invite the amiga users to join us.  Were a multi-gaminig clan called Nightmare Invention.  I don't have a ton of users and a load of bandwidth.  I have wanted to actully contribute something to the community for all the good people have done for me.  Well this isn't much but it is what I can do.

http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads
Go to the above link and get the correct version for you OS.  Supports Linux, MAC, and Windows.

The server address is
Claw22000.no-ip.com
Port should be left alone as it is the default

Server password is (niclan)
without the braces and it MUST be all lowercase.  Hope to see you on.

let me know what you think.

Claw

Had an awesome conversation with wizzard66. Great guy I'm totally wanting an FPGA Arcade board. A1200 with an 020 @50Mhz. Now it just needs a ram slot so it can be upgraded. Then make it portable while your at it :-)Well hope to see more of you get on as time goes on.

ill be on again soon but check in and stay connected as it has a text chat alot like irc.

Sorry I was out of town this weekend and I see the server updated while I was away.  So it back up now sorry if you tried to connect and wasn't able to get on.  I forget to update once in a wile and it just does it if your not paying attention.  Damn Windows.
:D

P.S could really use some one thats knowledgeable with OS 3.9 to get on.  I have a few questions.  Thanks

The problem on an A1000 will be the compression speed, but there should be no problem for PPC Hardware with say 500MHz. Bounty anyone?

So I have been away for a REALLY Long time.  I am back now and have moved the TS Server to voice.clawfest.com.  It has a built in File server and is on a 1gig connection so share away with each other.  I moved this a long time ago so sorry for not notifying people till now.

I don't see what this has to do with the Amiga.

While it might not have anything to do with Amiga per see, I dont see the issue of trying to gather others with similar intrests into the same community.
If someone is looking for "game community" recruits with Amiga as a hobby, poking Amiga forums seems like the obvious move.

Yes, of course, but you posted in "General chat about Amiga topics", choosing "Other operating systems" would have been better.
