So there is a least one really stupid mofo around (more than that since someone bid against him).

Oh, just some poor guy (at least he *will be*) missing the fact that the price is in Pounds, not in Rubles...
;)

Oh my. :)

Hey, third thread (that I've seen) about this particular auction!
-
I don't disagree that the price gained is a LOT of money. However, where are you going to find a working A4000T with all of that in it?
-
Think I've read this before somewhere...
-
And this is why we in the retrocomputing community can't have nice things.
-
It seems a little weird the auction would end at exactly 4300 or whatever. Normally, its never a round, even amount
-
Damn, and I just watched one go with Toaster for under $800.
-
4,300 UK pounds... Oh my...
Although it is a very nice setup, this is sure a hell of a lot of money and much more than I would be willing to spend on, well, whatever.
-
... and this is why you should never let your girlfriend know how to access your eBay account, because when you dump her for someone else she has the ability to log on as you and bid £4300 for an old computer. :D

While I appreciate this was an attempt at humour, the fact is that at least one other person was prepared to go £4000+. Quite a nice earner for the vendor me thinks :-)
