Hi guys.
I would like to provide my clients with the option of purchasing a new pc
packed with an (emulated) amiga environment. for free.
We are talking pre 3.1, and just the kickstart + default workbench.
I obviously want to do this legitly, as the Belgian and moral law requires.
How would this go ?
I see two ways, so here goes, some questions:
1) Will supplying an original (physical) rom count as a valid license ?
2) Can I pre-install Amiga forever and consider it a legal move, since I suspect it grants a license ?
3) Where does the workbench equivalent for the rom image fit in the picture if any of above methods grant me a legit resell license.
I doubt I can get a handfull of, for example, kickstart 1.3 licenses from
Amiga :(
Thanks for reading this far.

Your best option is selling a copy of Amiga Forever with the unit, I know a few Aros Builder do that, I dont know if they got special permission, but that's your best option, Clonto is I think still quite willing to work with community efforts so your best asking them. If not you could include the Aros Rom recently completed that is a basic Kickstart Replacement and is Free :)

Yeah, talk to Cloanto about bulk licensing Amiga Forver.

Wait for replacement Kickstart to be finished ;)

good suggestions. Thank you alot.
I wonder if the c64 and amiga forever packages let me legally
preinstall a pc with the licenses they grant. Who do I deal with if not ?

Write to these folks.
They've just finished several lawsuits with Amiga Inc. and imo can tell you how things stand in regards to your particular inquiry.
