Is there someone who knows how to upgrade a MacroSystem Falcon 040 (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/falcon)
to an 060? I've searched the net, but couldn't find anything on the subject.

Thought this was bloodline asking about Atari Falcons when I read the title :roflmao:

Yeah, the Falcon was probably Atari's best machine... Oh how I wish many of it's wonderful features had made it to the A1200 :(
I doubt it would have saved the Amiga or Commodore, but it would have been a far more noble death ;)

I used to have one, it was big but fast and very nice :-)
IIRC it was not sold with 060 and the firmware probably won't support it. I guess that the socket may be for 040 only and I doubt there's voltage regulator and other mandatory stuff required to make the 060 work...

This I don't know how to upgrade, sorry...
It's not just CPU swap and 3,3V regulator. Some IC's must be re-programmed.

OK, thanks, I'll stick with the 040 then... Maybe an upgrade from 25Mhz to 40Mhz
will do just fine for me.
