I like mine scandinavian style (thin, i guess what americans call crepes), with a thin slice of vanilla ice cream in the center. Wrap the bastards and good to go :)
Failing that, some strawberry or raspberry jam and sugar goes good too.
My son likes them thick and heavy, so he can dunk them in syrup.

With golden syrup and a few drops of fresh lemon juice.
I haven't yet tried them savoury with broccoli, but I am sure it would be totally FTW.

Broccoli wraps rule!!

I like my pancakes thick and soft and full of flavour of itself. Three-in-a-pan (http://www.ehow.com/how_2231835_three-pan-traditional-dutch-pancakes.html) for instance, is awesome, but I also absolutely love American pancakes. In this thread (http://www.amiga.org/forums/group.php?do=discuss&group=&discussionid=197), I posted one of my fav recipes.
Soaking them with syrup is blasphemy in my eyes as it'll destroy the nice taste with agressive sweetness. Sweetness should be just a soft hint :)

With ron from Cuba to give them a little of happiness in the mass, but done them, with sugary cream.
-
For breakfast I like them with Maple syrup and bacon and for desert just some plain vanilla ice cream :)

Whipped cream will do, also.

You know, I dont think I've ever had them with whipped cream, but it sounds awesome.

Ice cream and chocolate topping or ice cream and banana?
