Title: On Cinema4D, how do I use a sequence of images as a texture?
Post by: FuZion on December 18, 2003, 07:03:46 PM
Hi,

I think the title says it really. The Cinema4D manual says it can be done but doesn't explain how.

For example, 5 frames of rippling water being used as a texture in consecutive frames.

I've tried using a incrementing filenames eg. water.iff.001, water.iff.002 etc but I only get the 1st frame every time (It was a guess)

The only way I have succeeded is by, for example, having the 5 materials as separate materials & cycling through these. The only prob is, I have to set the material used the the object manually in the 'Time line' window & change it for each frame, again, manually.

I hope I've explained this clearly.

Thanks, FuZion.

Hi FuZion,

I think you'll get a better response to your question HERE (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AmigaCDGS/messages).

Cheers,

I wouldn't mind finding this out either - such a pain having to go through every frame and change the material...
There has to be a way of doing it!

Hehe, I'm a member of that group & completely forgot about it ;-)

I'll post the outcome if it gets sorted.

Cheers.
