Hello all, First sorry for being away for so long....
OK, my external 2GB SCSI hard drive died, so I thought I could just swap another working drive.
But, either EVERY drive I have is shot, or I am missing something silly....
The drive is on my 1230 SCSI board, along with my scanner and Zip drive. SCSI ID's and termination should be OK, but the drive never shows up. When I try to run HDToolbox, or anything else that checks the SCSI bus, the program hangs when it gets to the device of the hard drive. I am using a 68-/80-pin to 50-pin adapter board from EBay. I also tried with a little 50-pin drive, again no luck.
Really don't know whats wrong, I tried 5 diff. hard drives, and even 3 diff. enclosures....
My config:
A1200T, OS3.9 W/BB 1 + 2, 256MB RAM, '060/50Mhz + SCSI, 8.5GB IDE drive...
Any help would be great.. I feel like a N00B again, LOL!
