As that video was from 2002, I wonder what quotes he would use now from the divide Amiga Community if he were too make a new one...
Reckon it would look like an epside from The World At War just without the tanks & aircraft... :)
(probably most if it would be taken up with quotes about the iPad and stuff like Linuk & Ubuntu... :()

I have been back for a couple of years now, brought on mainly by nostalgia for the Amiga and I love playing with my machines but i STILL see much of the same old retoric again and again now many years later. Instead of users helping users enjoy and understand our 'classic' hardware, so much time is wasted with just hateful arguing and 'what ifs'. Its like a bad divorce where the parties involved just never move on.... sad. Sheesh, we lost can't we just move on.... that will never happen.
Couldn't agree with you more, until last summer when I finally went on the net I was blissfully unaware that certain so called Amiga users spent most of their time on these forums talking about everything else other than the Amiga... :(
Anywhoo... just to inject a bit of irony here, anyone know how long an HD in an iMac should last, mines is only about 7 months old and it's failing with some message about "SMART failure occurring"... ruddy poxy piece of crApple junk...
If your drive is registering a SMART failure, realistically it's time to replace it whilst it's still operable so as to prevent data loss. It's a warning feature that I would have killed for a couple of times with Amigas over the years... Live and learn I guess.
Just spent all afternoon backing it up (500GB) and ordered a new one, the ruddy thing was bought brand new only 7 months ago to go with the iMac but to be honest I think I should have sent it back as it's been pretty flakey since I got it... :(
(Gawd... another day to look forward to re-installing everything... :()
I'd take it back then. There is no way in hell that is right.
Is there no equivalent of Norton Ghost for MacOS?

I've tried to inject a bit of humour into things especially when it's got nothing to do with the Amiga but I've noticed more & more that certain folk round here a just a bunch of humourless greetin faced gits who seem to like nothing better than to moan and gripe about my posts cos it's dumbing down their claptrap about Apple & the like... :(
Sad thing is most of these moaning faced farts don't have anything useful or even interesting to say whether their posts are Amiga or non Amiga related... :(
Reckon myself they're just frustrated sad little turds, who no-one in the real world will listen to so they come here to spout their venom in the sad belief that the rest of us actually care or even agree with them... :(
To be honest I do like the fact that they are so dumb as to keep complaining about my posts and not using the ignore feature here that it's kinda became a new hobby for me winding the morons up and watching them constantly post complaints, give me a good laugh that does... :)

PS:Gonna put together my own video for youtube from certain post's here and title it "Whats The Amiga Got To Do With An Amiga Forum"... :) just need a nice wee theme tune to go along with it... any suggestions... :D
Franko, you ever come down to the West Country I wanna buy you a drink! :pint:
Was this moving a little fast to read, or am I that slow?

I posted a film video on YouTube, from 2002, called "50 Views of the Amiga's Impact". This is a collection of comments about the Amiga's impact, set to music. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAIrfLUXBF4

Boooring. At that time this kind of movie could be done about other systems as well. Take a look where for example Windows is right now and where Amiga is..
Phrases, empty phrases. And let's face it - it was 9 years ago, when Amiga wasn't more than nearly nothing.
