Title: On-Line gaming
Post by: melott on December 17, 2003, 07:54:26 PM
Ummm... getting a little bored here.
Thought I might like to try some On-Line gaming.
Any suggestions ??
I have my A3k w/WarpEngine 40mhz & CV64 card
also 80 megs ram.
Or my PC /1.3gig & 256 megs ram.
I can only use a 33k modem.
I'd really like to try something on the A3k but will
settle on the PC if its the only option.
I thought I saw a thread awhile back about
Amiga on-line gaming but can't find it now.

Anyone???

My phone lines where I'm at are 'Crap'..
A 33k modem is the fastest I can run.
56k modems have too much trouble on these
lines. My only other option is satilite from
'Direct TV' . VERY expencive, not really an
option for me.

Err... Not exactly taxing on your hardware, but certainly your Internet connection would be an old-fashioned MUD. There's tons of 'em out there. Have a look around the MUD Connector (http://www.mudconnector.com), perhaps you can find something you like there...?
