Anyone here running RDesktop on an OS 4.1 Amiga and remoting into and controlling the desktop of a Mac OS X system? Thinking about buying my first modern Amiga but for work need to run Mac so would like to have my Mac Mini running in my office on my 2nd desk and start using the Amiga for day to day tasks but access the Mac for work as needed. Any videos of someone using RDesktop remoting into a Mac?

I'm not sure if Mac OS X supports RDesktop, which is a Windows protocol. They do support control via VNC though - if you go into the network settings and turn on Apple Remote Desktop Server or something along those lines it allows you to connect to the Mac using any VNC client. I haven't tried it with the Amiga, but there are a couple of clients out there for AmigaOS...

Is there any special reason you have copied my exact questions I posted on past dates and have asked them here in the forums as if the question is yours? You have done this on 2 of my posts and it boggles me as to why?
Mods, is this some system snafu or is this new as of feb2011 user up to something odd? Tj
