Hello All..
Just came across this link.. found it interesting that the Commodore Brand is still alive and kicking... although used in a most bizarre way :)
http://www.dansdata.com/quickshot013.htm (http://www.dansdata.com/quickshot013.htm)
Wonder who owns the commodore brand these days :)
-
I wouldn't mind having one of those :)

A C= USB Pen FlashDrive surfaced a few months ago. Nice to see the trademark owners are doing something with it!
[EDIT: Actually read the article!] Or not...
-
It would be quite interesting if they made enough money to aquire all the previous Commodore properties.
-
Wow I had no idea anyone was using the trademark name to make new products. What else do they make?

which has remained under construction for ages.

I have a modern Commodore cordless telephone. It`s from the same company in Germany as this mp3 player. If anyone really wants a picture let me know. j.tayler@zonnet.nl

@ LinchpiN
Yes! :-D
-
Id sooner have a creative zen mp3 player. :-)
-
Er...it only says C= on the plastic packaging....
Not a single mention of C= on the device itself =).
-
Ah....
-
Hey, that's funny! LOL
Hey, who knows--maybe some new faces will look upon a classic name! :-D
-
-
those sony ones look better (and they're made by sony, not just sony labelling :-D ), but also, the audio part is seperate from the usb part, regardless
i'd like to get one so that i can check out the device's properties, maybe it IS made by commoddore, without having it in my hands i couldn't tell...
also, when you plug it into the computer, does it say "removabe storage device found", or "mp3 player found", that would be interesting, it might be intergrated, or just a storage media...

Hi All-
USB flashpen? Could I have my fantasy of a Commodore USB flashmem drive with Amiga Forever stored on it so that I just jack it in to the nearest laptop, do whatever, and TA-DA! there is my new Amiga laptop!?! I mean- a keychain/watchfob/penknife sized, Commodore branded USB thingy that does instant Amiga brain transplants on any convienient computer. In fact, why isnt Cloanto marketing one all set to go?
Yours-
CRL
