Noooo, that not right. Is that the x-surf I sold you? Prices should go up not down, but I'm not a financial expert.
Whaaaa :(
-
Owch! Some people got some bargains there.

I would recommend you never be allowed to start auctions on ebay ever again! :hammer:
-
Hence one reason I still love EBay. Someone got the fastest Zorro network card ever made for $0.99. :-D (No, it wasn't me.)
-
Oh, these weren't my auctions, I just stumbled across the seller as he has a 4000T listed currently.
-
So why didn't his auction show up for me when I was searching for "Cyberstorm 060" EVERY FLAMING DAY for the last two months?
-
It also appears he chose to ship to US only. I'm sure that didn't help anyone.
-
Holy cow, I hope he wasn't hoping for a big payday.
On the other hand all are marked no warranty no return and came from the same 4000. Maybe the box took a power surge?

I was the losing bidder on the xsurf. I didn't care that much since I already have an ariadne, but I was surprised how cheap it went for.

Of course not. We know you're not a dumbass.

But he is a Ginger. We can't forget that...

it helped one person at least.
-
I have an auto-notify out for "Picasso" and I also was never notified.
-
what......
the F***!
that is so freaking lame.
-
No returns for any of these items, so he might well have the last laugh!

Doesn't the "land of the free" have any consumer protection laws, distance selling regulations and/or statutory rights for consumers?

No returns would only apply as in I don't want this item. Any items which don't work should still be able to be returned and money refunded as they are not working.

All the items were sold as is with no warranty.
-
given the state of economy all over the world, and people losing interest in Amigas, I wouldn't be surprised if those prices become common soon.
-
I just noticed that the winner of the Picasso IV (for $87.40), has a Picasso IV for sale for $499. I don't know if it is the same one, but it looks like that buyer bids on what he can to resell for a much higher price.
Ebay hides the username of buyers, but in a small community of people interested in Amiga hardware, one there can't be that many people with 1121 reviews bidding on tons of amiga stuff:

Nothing technically unethical, but kind of :furious:.
