Hi,
I have 4 or 5 floppy disks with images that I created about 15 years ago at the local cable access TV station using SCALA on an Amiga machine. The studio no longer has the old equipment. Does anyone here have the capability to transfer these files to JPEG so that I can use them in various projects? Or does anyone know where I can get this done? I don't think that there are all that many images on these disks. How much would I be charged if someone can in fact do this?
Thanks,
John Mackenzie

I assume you don't have an Amiga, I could do it for you for free, where are you based... :)

Wow your handwriting is amazing. It's so big and colourful.

Thank you, Franko, but I insist on paying you. I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
I'm not all that knowledgeable about SCALA and the Amiga, but I thoroughly enjoyed using them at the TV studio. Does it matter which version of SCALA or which Amiga I created these images on?

Kesa and Bilge, my eyesight's not that good. Large fonts are easier for me to read. Besides, I'm into colors.

No, it doesn't matter... :)
And no I don't want paid it's an easy thing to do, although it may be easier if someone in the USA can do it for you as I'm in Scotland... :)
However, if you can make ADF images of the disks you could simply email them to me and it wouldn't take long for me to convert them, if you can't make some ADF disk images and no one else in the USA responds to you then PM me and we can arrange something... :)

I could help you too.

Thanks, Pyro. Maybe it would be better if I sent the disks to you since you are apparently in Chicago and Franko is in Scotland. (BTW, my ancestors came from Scotland as Franko assuredly knows based on my last name. As an addendum, my Dad changed the spelling of our last name from McKenzie to Mackenzie.)
I can't make the images into ADF files because I have no equipment, only the disks and no way I know of to read them.
Please e-mail me at ombowstring@ombowstring.com (ombowstring@ombowstring.com) .
Thank you very much.
