Title: Retrospectiva 3
Post by: the_woz on February 21, 2011, 04:13:27 AM
The Argentine retro community Retrocomputación announces the third Retrospectiva competition. Retrospectiva is a competition for all 8, 16 and 32 bits platforms, with the intention to promote older computer systems. The competition is divided into four categories:

    * Game coding
    * One-file democoding
    * Graphics
    * Music

As 2011 is known for the 50th anniversary of the first man to orbit the earth, we have chosen the space age as suggested theme for this year's competition. On the website of Retrospectiva you can even find a BASIC listing of the game called Lunar Lander, which you can use as a framework for your production. The competition just started and will end on August 8th 2011. For the rules of each competition, visit the Retrospectiva website.

But there is no Music section under "Categorias"...

@TheGoose
Yes, there is a Music category, it is mentioned in the rules

Exact translation (done by me):

.."Músic:

   1. Only music created for synthetizers or beepers of old systems .MOD upto 8 channels.
   2. Files must be submited in a standart format (for eg. .SID, .PSG, .MOD) or like executables.
   3. Covers of comercial music are not allowed, unless you get the proper permissions."...

BTW, If you need further help, I can translate you whatever you need.

I hope you participate and win :)

There is a 'Music' blog category but is not shown because is empty at this moment.
We'll be glad for you to join our competition.
