Title: Would USB Ethernet work for amiga?
Post by: runequester on February 07, 2011, 01:43:03 AM
For an amiga with USB (Deneb, Subway), would it be possible to use a USB ethernet adapter to get it online?

You Bet! I have a nice small USB to ethernet adapter that tucks right inside the A1200. I made a nice square hole so that the ethernet cable plugs right in the side. I'll have to get you a pic. Camera arrives on the 8th! I think I have a couple more of them at the shop.

Another proof for why the Deneb needs more advertising :-(

No kidding, but USB Ethernet has been talked about at pretty good length here. Your page is nicely laid out too, so Runie... (may I call you Runie? lol)  have you had a peek at his list of supported devices and chipsets yet?
