I asked Andreas at Amiga Future if he could sell this poster as I would like one myself and he said he would if he gets at least 30 orders...hence this poll
*** NOTE: SIMPLE POLL guys..that's all. There are alot of other threads on this very site to spam/troll on ***
-
I belive the shipping deadline will continue to slip
-
Is it priced on a similar scale to the computer? Should only be about...oh, $300?
-
Has this poster been beta tested?

Is it a religious poster?
-
yeah pretty much
sorry klx300r, maybe if it didn't actually say "I believe"
other than that its a pretty cool looking poster...
-
wow I doubled the yes vote?! It's a POSTER! That's the only thing about the X1000 I am going to be able to afford!
-
I'll believe when I see the actual computer sitting on someones desk, performing a function.
Hype is cheap.
-
I said "no", but if it had a naked woman tastefully draped over the X1000 and the mouse stuffed , then possibly.
-
I believe in the X1000 (why shouldn´t I?), but I don´t think I need a poster to prove it. If I had to buy one, I´d prefer the old poster with the case on it.
Then again: I am no X-Files fan.
-
I should also point out that at 42 years old I'm kind of past the "hanging posters on my walls with blu-tac" phase. (Around 20 years past it) :D
-
If it was inside a beautifully designed unique case then maybe, a pic of a mainboard then nope.
This perfectly illustrates how there is no recognisable 'next gen' Amiga to physically promote these days, unlike the days of Amiga actual.

one of the custom case already exists & I'd like this one showing the 'engine' only for my man cave:afro:

wait for your midlife crisis ;)
I've been wanting to get some late 80's or early 90's movie posters to put around my amiga :D
-
Voted no, but one the other hand maybe owning one of these posters and keeping it by in mint condition would be good idea, as in years to come you could put it on ebay and make a small fortune out of it... :)
People will pay crazy prices on ebay for "anything" that's old and in "mint" condition... :)

funny at 41, my garage & man cave have more 'memorabilia' hanging off the walls then when I was a teenager..of course the 'tac pins' have been replaced by framing :)
-
Why not just print one out yourself? It would take me about 20 minutes - 15 of which would involve going to the office supply store to get the glossy poster paper.

Sorry, but I can't find much positive to say here. Cheesey as heck slogan, plus I dont believe in a machine that's less powerful than something 1/10th of its price and would be embarassed to be seen with a poster with that slogan for that product. Good luck to OS4.x users, but in my humble opinion the X1000 is an insult to the machine its name pays homage to.
*Maybe* if it folded Alfred E Newman style into a "What, you're serious?" picture I'd consider it :)

guess I have to repeat this:

The simpler the question and the more straight forward it is, simply leads to things going totally off the wall round here...

So elaborating on your opinion is suddenly "trolling" ?
Interesting.

@ klx300r
It's an ugly poster with a kind of lame slogan on it. Sorry, that's just what it looks like and why you're getting some weird comments about it. You wouldn't really want that on your wall, would you?
-
The poster actually looks like something an anti-X1000 person might come up with. Has a hint of piss-take about it...
-
It looks like...well...like something made in MS Paint...and made in a hurry.
I voted "No", sorry :(
PZ.
