Title: Amiga 1200 Errors

I get the error 87000004 when trying to open up a text file into more  from the Workbench (AExplorer's Readme). I took the HDD and made an HDF  file out of it (direct connect to my pc using WinUAE to convert it), put  it into WinUAE, no problems what so ever with opening files.

Now on a Coldboot, I get the error:

Software Failure
C:AddBuffers
Program failed (error #80000004).
Wait for disk activity to finish

I only get this from a cold boot, if I shut it down and power it back up, no troubles.

And it works fine from a Coldboot from a floppy.

Any ideas of what could be the cause of something like this?

What OS are you running?  It sounds like you may not be running the warmboot requiered by 3.5/3.9.  Hence when you manually warmboot it works fine...

Workbench 3.0, Kickstart 3.0
Has an Apoolo 1240, 32mb.

~800mb hdd
