What classic ( 68K ) amiga systems have you never had a chance to use ?
For me:
1000, 3000, 4000, CDTV, CD32. (as well as the 1500 and 2500, if you cound those as separate from the 2000)
-
For me it would be the ones that aren't the A1000, A500, A1200, A2000. ;-)
I don't think I've ever even seen the consoles (CD32/CDTV) other than pix.
Not sure about the A3K or A4K.. I don't think I have..
Not the A600 or A500+.
Possible a 2500, but I'm not sure...
Any model not listed, less likely.. ;-)

The only place I've ever even seen a CDTV was an advertisement in a danish computer magazine when I was a wee lad.

Interesting thread :)
I have experience with everything except the A1000 and the CDTV.
-
I collected them all and traded them with my friends!
-
Anything AGA. I don't have anything against it but I've never really been that interested by it, and they're more expensive than the OCS machines. Never used a 3000, either.

Even a CDTV? :)
-
I've led a rather sheltered Amiga life - only A500s, 600s and 1200s here! Never used a big-box Amiga or a CD32 or CDTV for more than a few mins at an Amiga gathering...
-
For me:
1000, 600 and CDTV
I saw a CDTV in a store in Redmond Wash. when I was training at Nintendo, but I've only seen pictures of the others.
-
Never used A600, A1200 or CD32. Have used A1000, A500, A500+, A2000, B2000 (First German A2000 Release), A3000, A4000 and CDTV.
I have Owned the A1000 (Expanded with Rejuvinator Board KS 3.1 and Comspec SCSI Controller) and A4000.
Have repaired almost all Commodore Equipment except C16, Plus4 and B128.
-
I've never seen a CDTV, a CD32 or a 600. Working in a store, I got to play with, demo, use, or fix most of the other ones. ;-)
-
A1000, CDTV, A600 and an A4000T. I own all the rest except the CD32 which I sold years ago.
-
I've been lucky and owned them all at one point or another :)
-
Like the other Canadian from Ontario above (Shaf), I too have never used an A1200 or A600. While the Amiga 500/1000/2000 & 3000 were pretty popular here, by the time the A1200 was released Macs and PCs were overtaking the Amiga here in Canada. I never saw A1200s in stores. I'm sure they were available in Canada, but I think you really had to go looking for them (i.e. K-Mart Canada and other mainstream stores had dropped the Amiga by that time).
I've seen a couple of A4000s in Canada, but the A1200s seem to be relatively rare (whereas A500's seemed to be everywhere).
In fact, the few A1200s I've ever actually seen in person here in Canada were at the Amiga Inc. booth in the late 1990s World of Amiga show in Toronto (the one the Peter Tsychenko [sp.] was at when he was running things) and at another small Amiga meetup that used to be held annually in Ottawa.
-
Skipped the A1000 and bought an A2000 when I started work. Always wanted a CDTV, but never got around to it. Never owned an A600 or ever wanted too (no keypad!).
-
I've only ever used the two I've owned...an A500 and A1200.
-
Played on everything but a CD32, an A600, and an A3000.
Own (or have owned) A4000, A1200, A2000.
-
I never had a 600, 1000, 3000T, 4000, 4000T, CDTV and CD32.
I now do have a 1200, 2000 and 3000, having done away with several 500s years ago.
An expanded 600 sounds nice, though...
-
Never used; A1000, A2000, A4000
Used; CDTV, CD32, A3000, A600
Owned; A500, A1200, A500+

I have not used a A1000, A2000, A3000 or A4000 all the big Amigas, but I have seen them all largely thanks to the VCF (amiga uk show last year), I'd admit now really only really interested in seeing/using a A1000 as it is the original Amiga, and maybe a cdtv, which one of my friend dad got way way back in 90's so I did get to use it then, and I just liked how it had a wireless controller and displayed the time on the front and looked just like hi fi equipment, way, way ahead of its time that machine.
-
I have or have owned several of each model except the A3000(T), ive never seen or heard about anyone in my country (norway) that has had one, so i figure theyr quite rare or have never been sold officialy here. As its the only Amiga ive never owned im always on the lookout for one =) its always been annoying me that i never had one :-).
-
Even a CDTV? :)
Yup, still have that one even, matching keyboard and floppy drive included.
-
Never used towers. Never used an A3000 or CDTV.
All the rest I have use/played with at some stage.
What I have now is below.
-
I've had A600, A1200, A2000, A4000 and.... that's it? Only 4 of them? Ah, yes, I also bought CD32 for quite a bit of money that never worked.
I would still like to get an A3000 - the looker according to most, A1000, which I find to be the best looking model (and the original Amiga, of course...) and also A500, because it was so popular and I've never had one. And CDTV, too.
Aaaah, I want all of them!!!
-
Good question.. for me I think it'd be A1000, A2500 (if you count that separately from an A2000), 4000T, A3000T, CD32, A600... I've seen and used briefly a CDTV and had an A570 expansion (CDTV for A500) for a while so I'm not sure how that counts (it wasn't a very useful as an expansion compared to an HD controller...)
-
I really lucked out growing up. I aprenticed and worked in a Computer store that sold Amigas. So the only one I didn't touch were the ubre rare ones like the CDTV-II...
-
Never used these:
A2500
A3000T
A4000T
A500
A600
CDTV
CD32
DRACO
-
I've only owned 500, 500+, 600 and 1200. Now I don't have any :(

Well, buy some then instead of posting sad faces about it... now there's a plan... ;)

OK, give me some money then, and I will :D

one brown envelope stuffed with Bank Of ToyTown cash will be left under the rock in the park beside the third bench on left (usual place)... ;)

Well I'm missing the CDTV, A3000/A3000T, A3500 and A4000T.
Although I know the 3500 is going to be hard cause there are only 6 in the world and I know where 1 is at.
-
I've owned A500, A600, B2000, A1200, A4000T.
Played with CD32, A4000D, CDTV, A1000.
Never used an A3000 (seen one on a shelf at a video production facility).
Saw an A500+ in a shop.
Never even seen an A3000T.
-
I have been lucky enough to have used most of them. This is due in no small part to belonging to ACUG (Annapolis Commodore User's Group) for years. At one point we had about 200 members, so Commodore used to send speakers and some great demos. Since the Naval Academy is so close, many Navy people would bring in overseas models too, for what that's worth.
I even got to test a Paws pre release machine.
-
I've used A500, A1000, A2000, A3000, A3500, and CD32.
The rest I've only ever seen in pictures and stuff.
-
Ive never had a 600, 1200, 4000 or CD32. (or 500+/1500)
I have several 500's, a 1000, two 2000's, a 2500, 2 3000's, a 3000ux and a CDTV.
-
Never touched:
A500
A600
A4000
CD32
CDTV

Actually I hadn't used an Amiga 1000 until about 2yrs ago when I finally got one. Other than that I have an Amiga 3000, 4000, 2000, 2500, 500 and CD32. Also used an Amiga 600 once, but would love to get one for my collection. Also used to have an Amiga 1200, but during tough times ended up selling it so I would like to aquire one of them again.
-
The only one that I have used is the A1000 that I have sitting behind me. Other than that, I haven't used any other Amigas, although I've seen an A2000 in real life.
-
I managed to use a CDTV and a 4000/030 at college for video editing back in the mid 90's. Prior to that I used a 500 and 1200. I recently owned a 1500 and 4000 but sold them to get something shiny (doh!) But have recently purchased another 4000. Never seen a 3000, 1000 or a CD32.
Ahh the 500 takes me back... I remember telling people at school I had the a590 with 20mb.
My response was something around 'Wow! So you can install workbench AND monkey island 2!'
