Title: Your experience with USB on Amiga
Post by: Ponos2D on December 15, 2002, 10:01:18 AM
So we have few USB cards available for Amiga, I'm owner
of Spider.

I tryed usb optical mouse, which worked great!

I tryed HP Scanjet 2300c scanner, which is recognized by
poseidon, but there are no drivers for it so I could not
use it!

I'm interested if anyone tryed USB Tablets, and which models
are supported by drivers

Also I'm thinking about getting USB external CD-RW.

What did you connect to your USB card?

hi,
i think it would be frustrating to fit a CD-RW.
use a HD or ZIP drive. Fit an internal CD-RW, the speeds now are 52 x, the bandwidth is too narrow...
( you can burn 700Mb in two minutes!)

As for other devices try this site,

OR

Good will ,to all

Can anyone tell me if a Highway (Zorro version) USB card will physically fit in the top zorro
slot of an Z-IV busboard in a Power Tower?

All my other cards won't (CV64-3d, Hypercom etc) because they have connectors which stick up to
high.  The top slot is the one next to the video slot.  Its the only one I have left free and I
was hoping it would be ideal to pop a highway into... if it fits :)

Thanks for any help
