Hi,

I cannot connect to irc.webchat.org to talk in the Amiga.org chatroom. Is it down?

Not sure, I've been having problem for the last few days. Sometimes I can, Sometimes I can't.

It always worked and not now so it must be out then. Maybe just a temp prob.

pathetic IRC network.... :-P

check the webcrap webpage and get the other server names, sometimes they work if the irc.webchat.org one dosent.

The four main ones that I used were:

irc.webchat.org
dune.webchat.org
glass.webchat.org
java.webchat.org

At least one of them seemed to work when the rest didn't except for one occasion when it took about 30mins to get back on :-x

no wonder... 50% of webchat.org ran on windows last time i checked... conferenceroom+windows=not good..

From what I understand, the WebChat network acts as experimental network/showcase for Webmaster Inc's Conferenceroom software.

That might explain it's ropey nature  :-)

In its defence, there have been periods of several months where it has worked perfectly, though lately it appears as it's gone totally tits up  :-(

It *does* work right now, though, contrary to popular belief, so feel free to pop in, it's somewhat slow tonight  :-)

I recommend a proper IRC client, though, as the web interface kicks you out after 5 minutes of inactivity.
