Title: Recently back to Amiga, from Orlando, FL
Post by: touringsedan on January 12, 2011, 03:44:11 PM
Wow, this site is an awesome resource. Recently started collecting Amiga stuff, picked up an A1000 on the cheap, then a couple A2000's and now an A4000.

Patiently lurking for a Cyberstorm PPC 060 for the A4000, shocked at the prices they are selling for, but to have the best of the last would be awesome.

Currently waiting for delivery of my Zorro II ethernet card to setup AMItcp and get this bad boy online.

Mostly want it online to transfer too and from my Mac. But will also enjoy tweeting, emailing and posting from my amiga.

Grew up on C64's and then Amiga and eventually PeeCee's as work made that necessary, and then in 2005 got hooked on the Mac once I was shown its under pinnings were Linux, I was hooked.

Found an new excitement and appreciation for the Amiga's and seem to have a blast doing stuff with them, guess I am old now.

Welcome to the site.  Its full of amzingly helpful and knowledgable people.  Some who can even type andd spell :)

It also full of humour.  it can easily become a home from home, even when you have long stopped using classic hardware
