I just got myself a Cyberstorm Mk I (060 version with the RAM board) and it was suggested that I flash the ROM.
Question, where can I get the required programmes etc to flash the ROM? I have been to the download section of DCE but could not find what I needed and I have also had a lok on AmiNET but all I can see is upgrades for the Mk 3/PPC (will these work?).

Well, I have the Cyberstorm Mk I running in my 3000T now (I had to cut some of the board away on the edge to make it fit and the HD tray will not fit in anymore but anyway).
When I go to boot into WB3.9 I get an error.
sys_3.x
program failed (error #80000004)
sys_3.x is my boot drive.
Yet when I boot off a floppy disk I have no problems and can read the Hard Drives on the system fine.
It's just the daughter board with the CPU card and RAM card containing 128Megs of memory which is all there when I boot as well.
Could this have something to do with the int2 fix on the mb or would I not even get this far if it was ?

Hi prowler
erm!!! have you cut what?
Not a good idea!
Then, DON'T upgrade your MK1 flash rom . . .never.
Try to remove all the RAM modules, and check if starts without gurus.
Insert again only 1 module to the time.
Ciao
PS- about those "_int2 & _int6 for the A3000 & A3000T" mod, take a look HERE (http://www.vgr.com/int2/#InfoSheet)

Hi,
I have been playing around with the startup-sequence a bit. As far as I can tell, it would appear that the system doesn't like something after setpatch is run and rebooted.
I am going to try out blizkick and see how things go. According to the readme it removes the need for the amigaos3.9 setpatch.

Hi prowler
it is normal . . AOS3.9 SetPatch perfoms a reboot to load the Amia Rom Update.
Try with this line:
SetPatch NONSD SKIPRONUPDATES "scsi.device" QUIET
Then post here, your FULL configuration (even how much screws) like HD size, and so.
Ciao
EDIT- check if you have a 68060.library in Libs: or others CPU related libs.
