Post by: Xanxi on December 31, 2010, 09:45:48 AM
Hi.
I have a "s class" catweasel zorro 2 controler that comes with build in buddha ide ports. I would like to know  if it is autoboot and what would be tje proper device name in order to access ot with hdtoolbox.

Thanks for your help.

AFAIK you can not boot from it, it is just an additional port for backup purpose or putting a CD/DVD drive !

it is a pity you can not boot from the floopy connected to the catweasel MK2 either :-(

Oh, thanks.
As Individual Computer claims this board is a catweasel + a buddha, i thought the buddha part was bootable (the stand alone buddha is, isn't it?).

Yes the standalone buddah is bootable.

I think the ide ports were addded as kinda of extra rather than a full feature

Still about this board, what should be the device name to use with HDToolbox?

After installing the software, i see no device loaded in RAM about this board. Scsi.device seems no good either.
I am trying to use a 160 GB IDE HD on the first IDE connector.
