Title: Problem with MacFont
Post by: motorollin on December 28, 2010, 03:59:29 PM
I'm trying to use MacFont (http://aminet.net/package/text/font/MacFont) to convert a Mac font to an Amiga font. When I use the unpack tool on the Mac font suitcase, I get the following message:

"There are 1 Res Types in the file"

but the Amiga immediately hangs (no mouse movement or floppy clicking) or actually reboots. This is on a 3.1 A1200 with a Blizzard 1230. OS is basically vanilla.

Any ideas?

Well I've given up on this for now and used a TrueType engine to use a TTF version of the font. Presumably this uses more system resources than a native Amiga font, so if anyone has any idea how to get MacFont working I'd appreciate some help.
